Ed Guigonnet
Ed, 22 yrs old, is member of the BRITISH ALPINE EUROPA CUP SQUAD and the Welsh Elite Alpine Ski Team. He is GB 2024 Slalom Vice-Champion. He represented GB in the FIS World Championships Courchevel/Méribel 2023, FIS World Junior Alpine Championships, Panorama 2022, Bansko 2021, was selected to represent GB in the FIS World Junior Alpine Championships, Narvik 2020 (cancelled) and represented Team GB in the 2019 European Youth Olympic Festival in Sarajevo.
Ed's goal is to establish himself in the GB top five over the next 2 years in order to gain his place on the World Cup circuit within 5 years and to participate in his first Olympic Games in 2026.

Ed's training and racing is all self-funded. There is no official GB aid at this level. A full ski racing and training year costs over £25,000. This is financed by grants, donations from individual supporters and sponsorship from several companies and his parents.
